In memory of my dearest TT

I looked at many charm brands before I opened a jewellery store in Yaletown www.secretsapphire.ca. I decided to bring in Bonn Bons into Vancouver after comparing it to many more well known charm brands. Reason being is that it’s very well priced, great value, it’s all precious and semi-precious stones and hand made in sterling silver. I am very much into rocks, minerals, not just jewellery and I am very pleasantly surprised to see that Bonn Bons use all types of gemstones from tiger’s eye, carnelian to drusy and even champagne diamonds! I didn’t own any charm bracelets because I didn’t want to just wear glass brads, which let’s be honest, most charm brand names out there are made with glass. Bonn Bon is the first bracelet I own.

 

 

This is mine, I started with two charms and slowly now I have 5! That’s the beautiful of it, you didn’t have to buy many charms, you can start with just one and slowly building it. It’s fun too. I think my bracelet is complete. I wear it often.

 

A bit of sad story, my family dog just passed away this past couple of days, peacefully in his sleep. I made this bracelet for my sister in memory of the dog, TT. Each charm means something. I have taken care of TT half of his life and my sister has taken care of TT half of his life too. I know he lives in our memory, it would be nice if he knew we would always remember him and love him. We were lucky to have him for 18 years.

 

Dog’s name was TT so I made this bracelet with a letter T charm, Love and peace charm and whisky quartz charm which resembles his fur color. Nobody would know what this bracelet mean but us. It’s just a charm bracelet for most people and that’s what I love about it. It is low profile but yet it means the world to us. Each charm means something.
