Emerald cut ring makeover

This lady has a few rings. She has an emerald cut solitaire ring, a gold band with one small diamond and a pair of earrings that she doesn’t wear anymore. She came to me because her husband has bought a beautiful 5 stone diamond band from me and to match up with that new ring, she decided to turn these jewellery pieces that she no longer wears into a ring that she could actually wear next to the beautiful 5 stone band.

Here’s the style of her old emerald cut solitaire ring.

 

I forgot to take photos of her old jewellery so I couldn’t show you the before and after pictures. She wants something that sparkle so I suggested the modified halo look as I think she would like the contrast between the round brilliant cut and the emerald cut. I also sourced two more emerald cut diamonds to make this into a 3 stone ring.

To ensure her this ring will be beautiful I made a sketch.
